The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally, eufy robot vacuum has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, so you can manage it even when not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set path.
The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
